Background: In winter, Livigno can only be reached via the single-lane Munt La Schera tunnel, which is only open for entry on Saturdays between 10 am and 6 pm. This can lead to longer waiting times. Route & procedure: Munich Airport – Livigno

Your exclusive journey begins directly at Munich Airport, from where we first cross the city of Munich before taking the A95 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Shortly after Garmisch we reach the border crossing from Germany to Austria.

The route continues over the Fernpass to the Tyrolean town of Imst. After a short section on the Inntal highway, we take the exit shortly before Landeck in the direction of the Reschenpass. After the Landeck tunnel, we follow the Inn and ride past Ried, the gateway to Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, in the direction of Engadin / Switzerland. In Pfunds we turn off after the junction towards Samnaun and directly before the Kajetansbrücke bridge, we take the exit to St. Moritz and immediately cross the state border from Austria to Switzerland.

The route now takes us through the beautiful Engadin, past charming villages such as Scuol. In Zernez, we turn right towards the Ofen Pass and ride through the Swiss National Park. The single-lane Munt La Schera tunnel takes us directly to Livigno, crossing the border between Switzerland and Italy.

Depending on the traffic situation, you can also choose a different route, for example via Innsbruck instead of Garmisch.
